ADULT EDUCATION AND LIFE SKILLS:

The United Dialysis Foundation Inc., programs are designed to helps families build strong parenting skills, expands their vocational abilities, and provides them with positive community and cultural activities. These programs are meant to impact our youth and adults on a month basis. All participates are to attend monthly classes to learn how to keep and basis finances practices, how to budget, and how to plan for purchasing cost-effective and nutritious groceries. United Dialysis Foundation Inc. will implemented GED, and English and Spanish as a Second Language classes.

FOOD & CLOTHING:

The United Dialysis Foundation Inc. (A 2nd CHANCE FOOD AND CLOTHING) will provides a food basket program to low-income and poor residents in the community. Food is purchased from the local Food Bank of the state of Georgia, and we hope to distribute it to up to 50+ families each month. Bakery goods, clothing, and household items are also available.

YOUTH PROGRAMS:

United Dialysis Foundation Inc., will also provide youth education, ceramics, dance, art programs, athletic activities, a homework help program, youth summer jobs, ability to complete required community service for graduation purposes and a leadership program to inspire our youth to become our new future leaders. It is also home to the (SMARTS-ARE-COOL) youth leadership program, which serves local youth between the ages of 8 and 18.

HEALTH PROGRAMS:

Thanks to funding, the United Dialysis Foundation Inc. (STAYING-HEALTHY-AMERICA) will implement health fairs, reaching 100’s residents with our services. These fairs involved presenters that included the local community and local Department of Health. An exercise program will be designed to reach as many of our youth, adults and seniors as possible this year. An outreach worker will contacted people who attended the health fair with follow-up information and recommendations.
